NVIDIA C8180 SuperNIC — 800 Gb/s XDR InfiniBand & 2×400 GbE with Socket Direct Extension
The NVIDIA C8180 SuperNIC with Socket Direct extension is built for the
most latency-sensitive workloads. Supporting 800 Gb/s XDR InfiniBand and
400 GbE Ethernet in a single OSFP cage, it combines
PCIe Gen6 ×16 host connectivity with direct links to multiple CPU sockets.
This architecture minimizes inter-socket traffic, delivering higher throughput, balanced NUMA
performance, and the lowest possible latency for AI and HPC clusters.
